(6) Set the function generator to 5 kHz and verify that the signal drops no more
than 3 db 1 db. If not, perform b below.

18. Noise
a. Performance Check
NOTE
If 60 Hz is present on the oscilloscope display, it is being
introduced externally and should not be included in the
measurement.
(1) Connect TI as shown in figure 9.
(2) Select R3 and C1 for 300 kHz from the table in figure 9.

(3) Set the TI GAIN switch to 10.
(4) Note the largest peak to peak voltage displayed on the oscilloscope when S1 and
S2 are both in 1 and 2 alternately. The maximum allowable noise is ≤ 2.55 mV. If not,
perform b below.
(5) Select R3 and C1 for 10 Hz from the table in figure 9.
(6) Repeat step (4) above.
b. Adjustments. None.
19. Final Procedure
a. Deenergize and disconnect all equipment.
b. Annotate and affix DA label/form in accordance with TB 750-25.
