10. Gain and Linearity
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect equipment as shown in figure 3.

(2) Set the GAIN switch to 10.
(3) Set the GAIN IN/OUT switch to the OUT position.
(4) With the TI COARSE and FINE ZERO controls, adjust for a zero reading on
the multimeter.
(5) Set the calibrator to 5 V dc. Multimeter should read 49.9 to 50.1 V dc. If not,
perform b below.
(6) Repeat step (3) above using the remaining gain switch and calibrator settings in
table 4. TI will read within limits in table 4. If not, perform b below.
