(2) Position controls as listed in (a) through (d) below:
Adjust AMPLITUDE and POSITION controls to midrange.
(a)
Press REP RATE 1 MHz pushbutton (in).
(b)
TEST switch to VERT or HORIZ GAIN.
(c)
MODE CLK switch S129 to -3 DIV (located left side top of TI) (fig. 6).

t h e multimeter.
(4) Set S129 to +3 Div.
(5) Check for a reading of +0.1500 0.3% (+0.1496 to +0.1504 V).
(6) Adjust R 165 (fig 6), Gain Cal for a multimeter reading of +0.1500 V.
NOTE
INTERACTION - Because the Gain Cal and POSITION
controls interact, repeat steps (2) through (6) until both + and
voltages are within specifications. The difference between the
readings at the -3 Div and +3 Div settings must be 0.3000 V
0.3% (or more than 0.2991 V and less than 0.3009 V).
(7) Set MODE CLK switch to center position.
(8) Set oscilloscope mainframe switch to OFF.
(9) Remove U115 (fig. 6), connect adapter and stepper to U121 as shown in figure 5.
(10) Set oscilloscope mainframe switch to ON and allow approximately 5
minutes for warm-up.
(11) Press and release stepper for nearest 0 indication on multimeter.
(12) Adjust POSITION control for indication on multimeter.
(13) Press and release stepper for multimeter indications listed in table 7.
Multimeter will indicate within limits specified.
