(2) BW LIMIT pushbutton pressed and released to (out) position.
(3) CH 1 and CH 2 as listed in (a) through (e) below:
(a) VOLTS/DIV switches to .5.
(b) VARIABLE controls to (CAL IN).
(c) Input switches to AC.
(d) POSITION controls to midrange.
(e) 1 M /50
pushbuttons pressed and released to 50
(out) position.
(4) VERT MODE CH 1 pushbutton pressed.
(5) INT TRIG NORM pushbutton pressed.
(6) CH 2 POLARITY switch to +UP.
(7) SWEEP MODE switch to NORM TRIG.
(8) A and B TRIGGERING as listed in (a) through (c) below:
(a) COUPLING switches to AC.
(b) LEVEL controls to midrange.
(c) SLOPE controls to + (positive).
(9) A TRIGGERING SOURCE switch to INT.
(10) B TRIGGERING SOURCE switch to B RUNS AFTER DELAY TIME.
(11) Horizontal POSITION control to midrange.
(12) HORIZ DISPLAY B pushbutton pressed.
(13) TRACE SEPARATION (B) control to midrange.
(14) CAL 5V FREQ pushbutton pressed and released to 1 kHz position (out).
(15) TIME/DIV switch to .1 ms.
(16) DELAY TIME POSITION control to 0.0.
(17) POWER pushbutton pressed to on. Allow sufficient time for TI to warm-up
and stabilize.
8. Calibrator Output
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect multimeter to CAL 5V output. If multimeter does not indicate between
49.75 and 50.25 mV dc, perform b (1) below.
(2) Connect frequency counter to CAL 5V. If frequency counter does not indicate
between .9975 and 1.0025 kHz, perform b (2) below.
(3) Press FREQ pushbutton to 1 MHz position (in). If frequency counter does not
indicate between .9975 and 1.0025 MHz, perform b (3) below.
