(327) Repeat technique of (322) through (326) above to ensure that 2.1 and 5.5 GHz
markers are both peaked.
(328) Press FREQUENCY RANGE pushbutton to 5.4 - 18 GHz.
NOTE
Adjust REFERENCE LEVEL control as needed to view
markers.
(329) Adjust REFERENCE LEVEL control to center 6 GHz marker on crt, press
DEGAUSS pushbutton, and adjust PEAKING control to peak 6 GHz marker.
(330) Adjust FREQUENCY control to center 9 GHz marker on crt and adjust
(331) Repeat technique of (329) and (330) above to ensure tracking over this range.
(332) Adjust FREQUENCY control to center 12 GHz marker on crt.
Press
DEGAUSS pushbutton and adjust R1054 (fig. 25) for peaking response on crt.
(333) Adjust FREQUENCY control to center 17 GHz marker and adjust R1056 (fig. 25)
for peaking response on crt.
(334) Recheck 6, 9, 12, and 17 GHz markers to verify that all peak at the same
position with the PEAKING control (front panel). If not, repeat technique of (323) through
(333) above.
(335) Press FREQUENCY RANGE pushbutton to 1.7 - 5.5 GHz (BAND 2)
indication on crt.
(336) Adjust FREQUENCY control to center a microwave comb generator marker
between 5.4 to 5.5 GHz on crt.
(337) Press DEGAUSS pushbutton and peak signal with PEAKING control.
(338) Press FREQUENCY RANGE pushbutton to 5.4 - 18.0 GHz and adjust
FREQUENCY control to center the same frequency marker used in (336) above.
(339) Press DEGAUSE pushbutton and adjust R1031 (fig. 25) to peak signal on crt.
(340) Repeat technique of (338) and (339) above until signal amplitude peaks occur
at the same position of the PEAKING control.
(341) Adjust PEAKING control to aline front panel mark with index mark on crt.
(342) Press FREQUENCY RANGE pushbutton to 1.7 - 5.5 GHz indication and
adjust FREQUENCY control to center 3.5 GHz marker on crt.
(343) Press DEGAUSS pushbutton and adjust R1049 (fig. 25) to peak signal
response on crt.
(344) Press FREQUENCY RANGE pushbutton to 3.0 - 7.1 GHz and center 5.5
GHz marker on crt with FREQUENCY control.
(345) Press DEGAUSS pushbutton and adjust R1045 (fig. 25) to peak signal
response on crt.
