a. Performance Check
(1) Connect oscilloscope calibrator output to TI TRIG INPUT.
(2) Set oscilloscope calibrator for mode marker and a 50 s output.
(3) Center trace on ca display by adjusting sampling unit DC OFFSET control.
(4) Press MAN pushbutton. Trace on crt display is replaced by a single dot.
(5) Adjust SCAN control fully ccw. If dot on crt display is not aligned with the 0
graticule line, adjust POSITION (front panel) for proper indication.
(6) Adjust SCAN control fully cw. If dot on crt display is not aligned with the 10th
graticule line, adjust SWEEP CAL (front panel) for proper indication.
(7) Press REP pushbutton. Dot on crt display is replaced by a single trace.
(8) Connect oscilloscope calibrator output to TI TRIG INPUT and sampling head.
(9) Set TI SWEEP RANGE switch to 50 ms and TIME/DIV to 5 ms and
oscilloscope calibrator for 5 ms.
(10) Adjust sampling unit DC OFFSET and TI TRIG LEVEL to view stable
markers on crt display.
(11) Adjust TIME POSITION and FINE controls to align 2d marker with 1st
vertical graticule line.
(12) Adjust oscilloscope calibrator to align one marker per division over center 8
divisions. If oscilloscope calibrator does not indicate less than 3%, perform b below.
(13) Repeat technique of (9) through (12) above for SWEEP RANGE switch settings
