(11) Adjust TRIGGER MANUAL SWEEP control for a microwave frequency
counter indication of 2.000 GHz. Record multimeter indication.
(12) Adjust TRIGGER MANUAL SWEEP control for a microwave frequency
counter indication as close as possible to 18.000 GHz. Record multimeter indication.
(13) Allow TI to warm-up 5 hours before proceeding to paragraph 8 below.
NOTE
Verify the proper Cal Factors are loaded for the measuring
receiver power sensor module being utilized.
8. Frequency Accuracy Test
a. Performance Test
(1) Press RESET key.
(3) Press LEVEL key and set LEVEL display to -10 dBm by pressing -10 with
DATA ENTRY keys and then by pressing GHz/dBm/SEC DATA ENTRY key.
(4) Connect RF OUTPUT 50 to Input 2 of microwave frequency counter. If
microwave frequency counter does not indicate between 10 Hz and 20 MHz, perform b below.
(5) Disconnect RF OUTPUT 50
(6) Connect RF OUTPUT 50
(7) Press FREQUENCY RANGE CW F2 key. If microwave frequency counter
indication is not between 19.99 and 20.01 GHz, perform b below.
(8) Press CW M2 key. If microwave frequency counter does not indicate between
18.99 and 19.01 GHz, perform b below.
(9) Press FREQUENCY RANGE CW F1 key and set F1 M3 display to 1.000 GHz
by pressing 1 with DATA ENTRY key and then by pressing GHz/dBm/SEC DATA ENTRY key.
(10) If frequency counter displayed indication is not within limits specified in first
(11) Repeat technique of (9) above for remaining FREQUENCY RANGE key or
press F1 M3 display values as listed in table 3. If frequency counter indications are not
within the limits specified in table 3, perform b below.
