(22) If adjustments were made in (20) above, repeat (5) through (21) above until no
further adjustments are necessary.
(23) Press TI OUTPUT HEAD (turn output OFF).
(24) Disconnect TI from spectrum analyzer No. 2 and set power module POWER
switch to OFF. Remove TI from power module.
(25) Set DIP switch SW3020 (rear panel of TI) toggle number 3 to the open position
(pressed right). Replace TI right side cover and power module top cover.
(26) Insert TI into power module and set power module POWER switch to ON.
Allow 30 minutes for TI to warm-up then repeat a above.
10. Output Amplitude and Flatness Accuracy
a. Performance Check
NOTE
Multimeter autocal must be performed prior to proceeding with
this paragraph.
(1) Set multimeter to measure ac rms volts in synchronous sampling mode.
(2) Connect TI to multimeter input using precision 50
termination.
(3) Press TI pushbuttons as listed in (a) through (c) below:
(b) AMPL and enter 4.5 mV on DATA keyboard.
(c) OUTPUT HEAD ON/OFF (turn output ON).
(4) Multimeter will indicate within limits specified in table 5; if not, perform
b below.
(5) Repeat technique of (3) and (4) above for TI amplitudes and multimeter
indications listed in table 5. If multimeter does not indicate as specified, perform b below.
