(c)  ATTEN, 0, dBm.
(48) Set up measuring receiver to measure RF power.
(49) Adjust synthesized signal generator No. 1 output level for a 15.00 0.05 dBm
indication on measuring receiver.
(50) Press TI MARKER PRESEL PEAK key and wait for (PEAKING!) on TI
to disappear.
(51) Press TI keys as listed in (a) through (f) below:
(a) SCALE LIN.
(b) SHIFT, AUTOA.
(c) REFERENCE LEVEL, 15, dBm.
(d) FREQUENCY SPAN, 0, Hz.
(e) VIDEO BW, 30, Hz.
(f) MARKER NORMAL.
50 dBm.
(52) The marker amplitude indicated on TI display should be
key.
(53) Press TI MARKER
(54) Change synthesized signal generator No. 1 output level to 1 dBm.
(55) Adjust synthesized signal generator No. 1 output level for a 5.00 0.02 dBm
indication on measuring receiver.
(56) Press TI REFERENCE LEVEL, 5, and dBm keys.
(57) Record the marker amplitude indicated on TI display in displayed amplitude
column of table 51.

(58) Calculate gain compression using the formula below. Calculated value will be
