NOTE
To repeat a measurement, select the Clear Performance
Check Points button to bring up the Performance Points,
select points to be cleared, and select OK. After clearing the
data, perform the measurement again.
NOTE
After completing technique of (16) above, the range and
direction written in green in the Complete Perf Checks box
indicates the performance check was successful. If the range
and direction is written in red in the Complete Perf Checks
box, the performance check was unsuccessful.
(16)Repeat technique of (11) through (15) above at 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100%
values load. If the Error (%Applied) in the Analysis section is not within 0.5% of
applied load for all points, perform b below.
(17)Remove all the weights and weight hanger from the calibration arm.
(18) Select the Save Data For This Size/Direction button.
NOTE
When the range (High or Low) or direction (CW or CCW) of
torque is changed, TI must be exercised again three times at
100% of range prior to continuing the performance check.
(19)Repeat technique (3) through (18) above until all four range and direction
combinations are completed. (High Range/CW, Low Range/CW, High Range/CCW, and Low
Range/CCW).
(20)Repeat technique of (1) through (19) above for remaining torque sensors.
b. Adjustments
(1) Select the torque sensor to be adjusted and install into the calibration fixture as
(2) Select the Adjust button from the main menu.
The Torque Sensor
Adjustment screen is displayed.
(3) Enter name in the Tester Name: text box.
(4) Select the radio button for the range and direction to be adjusted.
(5) Select the Begin Adjustment button.
NOTE
Observe all caution and instructional dialog message boxes
throughout the DynCAL procedure.
(6) Select the Next button.
