WARNING
Heavy weights are used during the performance of this
calibration.  Fully support heavy weight with the jack until
ready to apply. Assure weights are placed on hanger in an
alternating slot alignment. Injuries may result if personnel fail
to observe safety precautions.
CAUTION
To prevent equipment damage, do not exceed rated capacity of
TI. Extreme care must be taken when loading and unloading
weights to prevent damage to torque sensor.
NOTE
A small gap must be present between the calibrator arm and
the torque sensor fixture housing to assure no drag exists
between the calibrator arm and the fixture assembly.
(7) Exercise the torque sensor three times to 100% of range. Use the calibration
arm, hanger, and weights specified in table 4.
(8) Remove all weights and weight hanger from calibration arm.
(9) Level the calibration arm by adjusting the two jack screws located in the fixture
housing, shown in figure 4.
