(7) Set TI FUNCTION switch to ILS and set TI frequency to 110.15 MHz. Verify a
composite signal of 110.15 MHz and 334.25 MHz by changing AMR DUT power to -25 dBm
and RF Tuning to 110.150 and 334.250, verify both display in RF Freq box.
(8) Toggle TI MB NAV ID switch up and change AMR RF Tuning to 75.000 and
verify frequency is displayed in RF Freq box.
b. Adjustments
(1) Adjust R32 (fig. 3) for equal indications in AMR Freq 90 Hz and Freq 150 Hz
boxes.
(2) Adjust R137 (fig. 3) for between 39 and 41% indication in AMR Freq 90 Hz and
Freq 150 Hz boxes.
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect TI ANTENNA connector directly to measuring receiver (no sensor).
(2) Configure AMR software for Input to RF, Meas to ILS Glideslope, DUT Power to
0 dBm, Ext. Loss to 1.00, RF Tuning to 59.000, PSA to Connect, Control to Continuous then
Start.
(3) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 29-88 position and TONES switch to 1000
position. Using keyboard set TI to 59 MHz.
(4) Toggle TI MOD LEVEL HI/LO switch until TI displays 70% AM. If AMR Freq
1000 Hz Modulation box indication is not 70% 5%, perform b (1) through (9) below.
(5) Toggle TI MOD LEVEL HI/LO switch to several different levels. If AMR Freq
1000 Hz Modulation box does not indicate within 5% of TI indication, perform b (1)
through (9) below.
(6) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 108-118 position. Using keyboard set TI to
113 MHz. Set AMR RF Tuning to 113.000.
(7) Toggle TI MOD LEVEL HI/LO switch until TI displays 70% AM. If AMR Freq
1000 Hz Modulation box indication is not 70% 5%, perform b below.
(8) Toggle TI MOD LEVEL HI/LO switch to several different levels. If AMR Freq
1000 Hz Modulation box does not indicate within 5% of TI indication, perform b (10)
through (18) below.
(9) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 118-156 position. Using keyboard set TI to
137 MHz. Set AMR RF Tuning to 137.000.
(10) Toggle TI MOD LEVEL HI/LO switch until TI displays 70% AM. If AMR Freq
1000 Hz Modulation box indication is not 70% 5%, perform b (10) through (18) below.
(11) Toggle TI MOD LEVEL HI/LO switch to several different levels. If AMR Freq
1000 Hz Modulation box does not indicate within 5% of TI indication, perform b (19)
through (27) below.
