(4) Set TI FUNCTION switch to MB.
(5) Turn TI off. Press and hold down the MB NAV ID switch while turning the
TI on.
(6) When Enter Cal Code appears on TI screen, enter 953 on TI keypad.
(7) Press 3 (AMTx) on TI keypad.
(8) Use TI keyboard ,
keys to select band 1 (29-88 MHz).
(9) Using TI keypad, enter the AMTx value calculated in step (3) above and press
ENT. Turn TI off and back on.
(10) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 108-118 position and TONES switch to 1000
position. Using keyboard set TI to 113 MHz.
(11) Toggle TI MOD LEVEL HI/LO switch until TI displays 70% AM.
(12) Measure the modulation levels at 1000 Hz and 150 Hz. Calculate the correction
coefficient as follows:
AMTx = 70% / Average Actual Readings
(13) Set TI FUNCTION switch to MB.
(14) Turn TI off. Press and hold down the MB NAV ID switch while turning the
TI on.
(15) When Enter Cal Code appears on TI screen, enter 953 on TI keypad.
(16) Press 3 (AMTx) on TI keypad.
(17) Use TI keyboard ,
keys to select band 2 (108-118 MHz).
(18) Using TI keypad, enter the AMTx value calculated in step (12) above and press
ENT. Turn TI off and back on.
(19) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 118-156 position and TONES switch to 1000
position. Using keyboard set TI to 137 MHz.
(20) Toggle TI MOD LEVEL HI/LO switch until TI displays 70% AM.
(21) Measure the modulation levels at 1000 Hz and 150 Hz. Calculate the correction
coefficient as follows:
AMTx = 70% / Average Actual Readings
(22) Set TI FUNCTION switch to MB.
(23) Turn TI off. Press and hold down the MB NAV ID switch while turning the
TI on.
(24) When Enter Cal Code appears on TI screen, enter 953 on TI keypad.
(25) Press 3 (AMTx) on TI keypad.
(26) Use TI keyboard ,
keys to select band 3 (118-156 MHz).
(27) Using TI keypad, enter the AMTx value calculated in step (21) above and press
ENT. Turn TI off and back on.
(28) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 156-174 position and TONES switch to 1000
position. Using keyboard set TI to 160 MHz.
