(54) Enter the FMTx value calculated in step (48) above and press ENT. Turn TI off
and back on.
(55) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 108-118 position. Using keyboard set TI to
113 MHz.
(56) Toggle MOD LEVEL HI/LO down until TI displays 8 kHz FM.
(57) Measure the actual deviation and calculate the correction coefficient as follows:
FMTx = 8 kHz / Actual Reading in kHz
(58) Turn TI off and set TI FUNCTION switch to MB.
(59) Press and hold down the MB NAV ID switch while turning the TI on.
(60) When Enter Cal Code appears on TI screen, enter 953 on TI keypad.
(61) Press 4 (FMTx) on TI keypad.
(62) Use TI keyboard ,
keys to select band 2 (108-118 MHz).
(63) Enter the FMTx value calculated in step (57) above and press ENT. Turn TI off
and back on.
(64) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 118-156 position. Using keyboard set TI to 137
MHz.
(65) Toggle MOD LEVEL HI/LO down until TI displays 8 KHz FM.
(66) Measure the actual deviation and calculate the correction coefficient as follows:
FMTx = 8 kHz / Actual Reading in kHz
(67) Turn TI off and set TI FUNCTION switch to MB.
(68) Press and hold down the MB NAV ID switch while turning the TI on.
(69) When Enter Cal Code appears on TI screen, enter 953 on TI keypad.
(70) Press 4 (FMTx) on TI keypad.
(71) Use TI keyboard ,
keys to select band 3 (118-156 MHz).
(72) Enter the FMTx value calculated in step (66) above and press ENT. Turn TI off
and back on.
(73) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 156-174 position. Using keyboard set TI to
160 MHz.
(74) Toggle MOD LEVEL HI/LO down until TI displays 8 KHz FM.
(75) Measure the actual deviation and calculate the correction coefficient as follows:
FMTx = 8 kHz / Actual Reading in kHz
(76) Turn TI off and set TI FUNCTION switch to MB.
(77) Press and hold down the MB NAV ID switch while turning the TI on.
(78) When Enter Cal Code appears on TI screen, enter 953 on TI keypad.
(79) Press 4 (FMTx) on TI keypad.
(80) Use TI keyboard ,
keys to select band 4 (156-174 MHz).
