After initialization, the POD Setup alert is displayed on the UxValidator (fig. 2).

i. Turn on the TI ETTS Pod by pushing the power switch towards the PWR lamp until
the lamp turns on, then press the TI ETTS BrainPak left Encoder knob to continue.

The Port and Data Configuration page is displayed on the UxValidator (fig. 3).

k. Press the TI ETTS BrainPak Encoder left knob to continue. The System Test page
is displayed on the UxValidator.
l. Hold down the TI ETTS BrainPak left Encoder knob to view the System Test Menu
on the UxValidator (fig. 4).
