(10) Disable the REF FREQUENCY OUTPUT by setting the TI controls as listed
in (a) through (d) below.
(a) SETUP.
(b) Softkey GLOBAL PREF.
(c) Softkey REF FRQ OUPUT.
(d) Softkey DISABLE.
(11) Set TI output to STBY.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
10. Modulation Accuracy Verification
a. Performance Check
(1) Ensure that the TI 50 Ω Leveling Head is connected to the measuring receiver
using sensor module (opt 504).
(2) Set the measuring receiver for an AM rate measurement
(3) Set the TI controls as listed in (a) through (f) below:
(a) FREQUENCY to 30 MHz.
(b) LEVEL to +10 dBm.
(c) MOD to AM.
(d) MOD RATE to 1 kHz (Sine).
(e) AM DEPTH to 50%.
(f) OUTPUT to OPER.
(4) Verify that the measuring receiver AM Rate indication is within the limits of
table 6.
(5) Repeat technique of 3 (d) and (4) above for the remaining modulation rate listed in
table 6. TI will indicate within the tolerances of table 6.
