(6) Set the TI controls as listed in (a) through (g) below:
(a) FREQUENCY to 125 MHz.
(b) LEVEL to +14 dBm.
(c) MOD to AM.
(d) MOD RATE to 1 kHz (Sine).
(e) AM DEPTH to 80%.
(f) OUTPUT to OPER.
(g) MODULATION to ON.
(7) Set the measuring receiver for an AM Depth measurement.
(8) Verify that the measuring receiver AM Depth indication is within the limits of
table 7.
(9) Repeat technique of (6) (a), (6) (d) and (8) above for the remaining modulation
rate listed in table 7. TI will indicate within the limits of table 7.

(10) Set the TI controls as listed in (a) through (g) below:
(a) FREQUENCY to 125 MHz.
(b) LEVEL to +13 dBm.
(c) MOD to FM.
(d) MOD RATE to 1 kHz (Sine).
(e) FM DEVIATION to 300 kHz.
(f) OUTPUT to OPER.
(g) MODULATION to OFF.
(11) Allow the measuring receiver to tune to the input signal. When the tuning is
complete, set the TI to MODULATION ON.
(12) Configure the measuring receiver for an FM rate measurement. Verify that the
measuring receiver FM rate indications are within the limits of table 8.
