Record this value as P2 for use in 12 a (10).

Record this value as P-37 for use in 12 a (20).

(14) Remove the power meter and power sensor from equipment set-up and connect
the TI 50 Ω Leveling Head to the input of the measuring receiver using sensor module
(opt 504).
(15) Set the TI controls as listed in (a) through (e) below:
(a) MODE to Leveled Sine.
(b) FREQUENCY to 100 kHz.
(c) LEVEL to 0 dBm.
(d) OUTPUT to OPER.
(e) REF FREQUENCY OUTPUT to enabled.
(16) Set the measuring receiver for a tuned RF level measurement with an external
time base reference.
(17) After the measuring receiver has tuned to the TI output frequency, reduce the TI
output to -37dBm, wait for indication to settle, and set a relative (dB) reference.
(18) Without changing the measuring receiver settings, set the TI to the next
amplitude setting in table 12 for this frequency. After stabilization, record this value as Prel.
(19) Calculate the TI output using the formula below. Verify that the TI is within the
P
= P
+ P
(20) Repeat technique of (18) and (19) for each amplitude at this frequency. If Pout is
not within the limits of table 12, perform b below.
(21) Return the TI amplitude to 0 dBm. Set the TI to the next frequency in table 12
and repeat technique of (17) through (20) above. If Pout is not within the limits of table 12,
perform b below.
