b. Adjustments
CAUTION
The adjustment procedure may take up to 5 hours using
automation, significantly longer using manual measuring
techniques. The adjustment procedure consists of 97 separate
adjustments to the base unit and 337 to the leveling head.
While it is possible to adjust the TI manually using the
procedure below, it is recommended that automation be used
and the procedure below be used as a guide.
(1) On the TI, press SETUP, followed by the softkey Calibration and then the
softkey Calibrate Instrument.
(2) Using the keypad, enter the password, followed by the ENTER key.
(3) Press the softkey Adjust Base.
