(33) Set L1 to the next value listed in table 9. Measuring receiver will indicate
within limits listed in table 9.
(34) Repeat technique of (33) above for remaining TI settings listed in table 9. TI will
indicate within limits listed in table 9.
(35) Set TI outputs to minimum.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
10. Output Level Flatness
a. Performance Check
(1) Press TI keys as listed in (a) through (h) below:
(a) System, Reset.
(b) Manual Sweep.
(c) Edit F1, 30 MHz.
(d) Edit F2, 50 GHz.
(e) Number of Steps, 200, Enter.
(f) Frequency Control ->.
(g) Edit L1, 0.00, dBm.
(h) Frequency.
(2) Using the rotary data knob, sweep TI from 30 MHz - 50 GHz. Use the
measuring receiver, in measuring receiver mode, to measure RF power. Record the highest
and lowest levels.
(3) Calculate the flatness using the formula below. Measuring receive will indicate
within the limits listed in table 10.
Flatness = (highest lowest)/ 2
Example: ( 0.6 (-0.5)) / 2 = 0.55
