(26) Set function generator for a 99.8 kHz sine wave output at 0.707 V rms.
(27) On the instrument controller, press any key to continue.
(28) Adjust the measuring receiver center frequency controls to align TI carrier on
center graticule (approximately 5 GHz) while reducing span /div to 50 kHz.
(29) On the instrument controller use 1, 2, or 3 to increment and 8, 9, and 0 to
decrement the value of the DAC's setting while observing the first Bessel null, adjust the
value of the DAC setting to reduce the carrier level as low possible (>-40 dBc null).
(30) On the instrument controller press "q" to quit.
(31) Repeat technique of (27) through (30) above following instructions on the
instrument controller screen.
(32) The $ prompt will appear when calibration is complete.
(33) Type: calterm 150 <ENTER>.
(34) Set function generator for a 99.8 kHz sine wave output at 0.707 V rms.
(35) On the instrument controller press any key to continue.
(36) Adjust the measuring receiver center frequency controls to align TI carrier on
center graticule (approximately 5 GHz) while reducing span /div to 50 kHz.
(37) On the instrument controller use 1, 2, or 3 to increment and 8, 9, and 0 to
decrement the value of the DAC's setting while observing the first Bessel null, adjust the
value of the DAC setting to reduce the carrier level as low possible (>-40 dBc null).
(38) On the instrument controller press "q" to quit.
(39) Repeat technique of (35) through (38) above following instructions on the
instrument controller screen.
(40) The $ prompt will appear when calibration is complete.
(41) Type: calterm 155 <ENTER>.
(42) Set function generator for a 400 Hz sine wave output at 0.707 V rms.
(43) On the instrument controller press any key to continue.
(44) Adjust the measuring receiver center frequency controls to align TI carrier on
center graticule (approximately 5 GHz) while reducing span /div to 50 kHz.
(45) On the instrument controller use 1, 2, or 3 to increment and 8, 9, and 0 to
decrement the value of the DAC's setting while observing the first Bessel null, adjust the
value of the DAC setting to reduce the carrier level as low possible (>-26 dBc null).
(46) On the instrument controller press "q" to quit.
(47) The $ prompt will appear when calibration is complete.
(48) Type: calterm 156 <ENTER>.
(49) Set function generator for a 400 Hz sine wave output at 0.707 V rms.
(50) On the instrument controller press any key to continue.
