9. Power Level Accuracy and Flatness
a. Performance Check
(1) Set measuring receiver to measuring receiver mode and connect sensor module
(opt 518) to measuring receiver and to measuring receiver POWER REF output.
(2) Load calibration factors, and zero and calibrate the sensor module (opt 518).
(3) Disconnect the sensor module from the measuring receiver POWER REF
output and connect it to the TI RF OUTPUT.
(4) Press TI keys as listed in (a) through (d) below:
(a) System, Reset.
(b) Level, ALC Mode, Attenuate, Decouple.
(c) EDIT F1, 1.999, GHz.
(d) Edit L1, 10, dBm.
(5) Using measuring receiver, in measuring receiver mode, and RF power
measuring techniques, verify that the measuring receiver indicates within the limits listed
in table 4.
(6) Set L1 to the next value listed in table 4. Measuring receiver will indicate
within limits listed in table 4.
(7) Repeat technique of (6) above for remaining TI settings listed in table 4.
Measuring receiver will indicate within limits listed in table 4.
(8) Press Modulation, Pulse, select External Pulse mode by pressing,
Internal/External, if required.
(9) Turn the Pulse mode on by pressing, ON/OFF.
(10) Repeat (4) (d) through (7) above. Measuring receiver will indicate within limits
listed in table 4.
