(d) On the instrument controller use 1, 2, or 3 to increment and 8, 9, and 0 to
decrement the value of the power meters setting to obtain a 10.00 dB difference in reading
when the function generator's output is toggled.
(e) On the instrument controller press "q" to quit.
(f) At the prompt on the instrument controller screen, type:
calterm 146 <ENTER>.
(g) The $ prompt will appear when calibration is complete.
(18) At the prompt on the instrument controller screen, type:
calterm 147 <ENTER>.
(19) On the function generator set output voltage for a 1 kHz sine wave with an
output level of 0.354 V rms, 0 V dc offset as measured on the multimeter. Press any key on
the instrument controller when done.
(20) The $ prompt will appear when calibration is complete.
(21) At the prompt on the instrument controller screen, type: calterm 787
<ENTER>. A $ will appear when calibration data has been stored.
(22) Disconnect equipment setup and repeat 16 a above.

(a) Sine, Freq, 1, kHz.
(b) Ampl, 0.7071, V rms.
(c) Output, select ON
(d) Offset, 0.000 V dc
(4) Adjust function generator Ampl for a 0.7071 V rms reading on the multimeter.
(5) Allow measuring receiver to tune to TI carrier frequency, then measure AM
Depth with PEAK + -/2 detector, and 300 Hz high pass and 3 kHz low pass filters.
(6) Verify that the measuring receiver indication within limits listed in table 17; if
not, perform b below.
(7) Repeat (2) (b), (c) and (5) and (6) above for the remaining output power levels,
and frequencies listed in table 17. TI will indicate within limits listed in table 17, if not,
perform b below.
