b. Adjustments
(1) Rotate oscilloscope calibrator knob located below EDIT FIELD pushbutton for
an Err display of 0.0%. Adjust R1036 (fig. 8) until 10th marker aligns with ninth vertical
graticule line (R).
(2) Rotate oscilloscope calibrator knob located below EDIT FIELD pushbutton for
an Err display of 0.0%. Adjust R1047 (fig. 8) for 1 marker per division (R).
(3) Adjust R1053 (fig. 8) for no shift of display as MAG switch is set from X10
to OFF (R).
26. B Sweep Calibration
a. Performance Check
(1) Position controls as listed in (a) through (d) below:
DELAY TIME MULTIPLIER control to 0.10.
(a)
B TIME/DIV AND DELAY TIME switch to 1 ms.
(b)
B SWEEP MODE switch to TRIGGERABLE AFTER DELAY TIME.
(c)
HORIZ DISPLAY switch to B (DELAYED SWEEP).
(d)
(2) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a MARKER mode output of 1 ms.
(3) Adjust B LEVEL control for a stable display.
(4) Adjust horizontal POSITION control and rotate oscilloscope calibrator knob
located below EDIT FIELD pushbutton to align 1 marker per division on the middle 8
divisions. If oscilloscope calibrator Err display readout does not indicate within 3%,
perform b below.
b. Adjustments. Rotate oscilloscope calibrator knob located below EDIT FIELD
pushbutton for an Err display of 0.0%, and adjust R943 (fig. 8) for 1 marker per division (R).
27. Sweep Timing
a. Performance Check
(1) Set HORIZ DISPLAY switch to A.
(2) Set A AND B TIME/DIV AND DELAY TIME switches to .05 s.
(3) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a CHAN 1, MARKER mode output of 50 ns.
(4) Adjust horizontal POSITION control and rotate oscilloscope calibrator knob
located below EDIT FIELD pushbutton to align 1 time marker per division on the middle 8
divisions. If oscilloscope calibrator Err display readout does not indicate within limits
specified in first row of table 11, perform b below.
(5) Repeat technique of (4) above, using settings and indications listed in table 11.
If oscilloscope calibrator Err display readout does not indicate within limits specified in
table 11, perform b below.
(6) Set HORIZ DISPLAY switch to B (DELAYED SWEEP).
(7) Repeat technique of (3) through (5) above for B DELAYED SWEEP.
