(6) Set A AND B TIME/DIV AND DELAY TIME switch to .1 s.
(7) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a CHAN 1, MARKER output of 10 ns.
(8) Repeat technique of (4) above. If linearity is poor, perform b (2) below.
b. Adjustments
(1) Adjust C1081 and C1091 (fig. 8) for optimum linearity over the center eight
divisions (R).
(2) If the first division shows excessive non-linearity, compromise the setting of
C1081 and C1091 for optimum linearity between .05 s and .1 s switch positions.
a. Performance Check
(1) Set CH 1 VOLTS/DIV switch to .2 V.
(2) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a CHAN 1, MARKER mode output of 10 ns.
(3) Adjust horizontal FINE control and rotate oscilloscope calibrator knob located
below EDIT FIELD pushbutton to align 1 marker per division on the middle 8 horizontal
divisions. Oscilloscope calibrator Err display readout will indicate within 4%.
(4) Set HORIZ DISPLAY switch to B (DELAYED SWEEP) and repeat (2) and (3)
above for B SWEEP.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
a. Performance Check
(1) Set VOLTS/DIV switches to 50 mV and A AND B TIME/DIV AND DELAY
TIME switches to .05 s.
of 10 kHz.
(3) Set X10 MAG switch to X10 and measure risetime, using standard risetime
techniques. Risetime will be less than 2.4 ns.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect frequency counter to 1 V CAL 1 kHz connector. If frequency counter
does not indicate between 995 and 1005 Hz, perform b (1) below.
(2) Position switches as listed in (a) through (c) below:
(a) CH 1 VOLTS/DIV to .2.
(b) A AND B TIME/DIV AND DELAY TIME to .2 ms.
(c) MODE to CH 1.
(3) Connect 1 V CAL 1 kHz output to CH 1 INPUT.
