38. Low Frequency Compensation
a. Performance Check
(1) Position controls as listed in (a) through (e) below:
(a) VOLTS/DIV switches to 5 mV.
(b) A AND B TIME/DIV AND DELAY TIME switches to 0.2 ms.
(c) VERT MODE pushbutton to CH 1 and CH 2 pushbutton released.
(d) AC-GND-DC switches to DC.
(e) NON STORE pushbutton pressed.
(2) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a CHAN 1, EDGE mode output of 25 mV at 1 kHz
and rotate oscilloscope calibrator knob located below EDIT FIELD pushbutton for a 5
division display on TI. If square wave displayed has aberrations of 1 minor division or
more, perform appropriate adjustments listed in table 17.
(3) Set oscilloscope calibrator CHAN 1, EDGE mode output and TI TIME/DIV
switch to settings listed in table 17 and repeat technique of (2) above for switch settings
listed in table 17.
(4) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a CHAN 2, EDGE mode output. Press TI VERT
MODE pushbutton to CH 2, release CH 1 pushbutton, and repeat technique of (2) above
for CH 2 switch settings and adjustments listed in table 17.
b. Adjustments. No further adjustments can be made.
