39. CH 1 and CH 2 VOLTS/DIV Compensation
a. Performance Check
(1) Position controls as listed in (a) through (c) below:
(a) VERT MODE CH 1 pushbutton pressed and CH 2 pushbutton released.
(b) 20 MHz BW LIMIT pushbutton pressed to 20 MHz (in).
(c) A AND B TIME/DIV AND DELAY TIME switches to 0.2 ms.
(2) Connect oscilloscope calibrator SOURCE/MEASURE CHAN 1 to CH 1 input
and SOURCE/MEASURE CHAN 2 to CH 2 input through 50  feedthrough terminations,
attenuators, and standardizers.
(3) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a CHAN 1, EDGE mode output of 25 mV at 1
kHz, and rotate oscilloscope calibrator knob located below EDIT FIELD pushbutton for 5
divisions of display.
(4) Adjust standardizer for best square wave display. Display will be optimum
square wave without rounding or overshoot in excess of one-half minor division.
