(7) Adjust INTENSITY control until dot appears on crt.
(8) Adjust R3033 (fig. 1) until dot is focused.
(9) Adjust INTENSITY control for a reading of 5.5 V 0.2 V higher than voltage
noted in (6) above.
(10) Adjust R2040 (fig. 1) ccw until dot on crt is visible. If no dot appears with
adjustment fully ccw, this will be the bias setting.
(11) Adjust R2040 (fig. 1) cw until dot is just extinguished.
(12) Adjust INTENSITY control cw until dot is visible on crt.
(13) Adjust R3033 (fig. 1) until dot is out of focus on crt.
(14) Adjust horizontal POSITION control to offset dot from center line and adjust
R1058 (fig. 1) for a round dot on crt.
(15) Adjust R3033 (fig. 1) until dot is refocused.
(16) Adjust INTENSITY control ccw until dot just disappears.
Voltage on
multimeter will equal or exceed voltage recorded in (6) above. If voltage is less, repeat
technique of (6) through (15) above.
NOTE
Adjust INTENSITY control until dot appears and then aline to
bottom and center graticule lines, using POSITION controls.
(17) Push POWER switch to off and remove jumper P4036 (fig. 3) or W4036 (fig. 4).
