(54) Pull POWER switch to on.
(55) Set oscilloscope to ext trigger and connect AUX TRIG IN (rear panel) to TP1011
(fig. 1) and chassis ground using X1 probe.
(56) Press SINGLE SWEEP pushbutton to on and press DIGITAL STORAGE
pushbuttons to off.
(57) Connect oscilloscope channel 1 to collector of Q1031 (fig. 6) using X1 probe.
(58) Press READOUT pushbutton to on.
(59) Adjust C5021 (fig. 6) for optimum frequency response (best square wave).
(60) Disconnect probe from Q1031 and connect to collector of Q1043 (fig. 6)
(61) Adjust C4057 (fig. 6) for optimum frequency response.
(62) Disconnect probe from Q1043 (fig. 6) and connect to collector of Q1072 (fig. 6).
(63) Adjust C4061 (fig. 6) for optimum frequency response (best square wave).
(64) Disconnect probe from Q1043 (fig. 6) and connect to collector of Q1095 (fig. 6).
(65) Adjust C5104 (fig. 6) for optimum frequency response (best square wave).
(66) Disconnect probes from equipment setup.
NOTE
Check appearance of "Z" in GHz of frequency readout on crt. If
necessary, adjust C5104 and C4061 (fig. 6) for straightest top
on the "Z".
(67) Press LIN VERTICAL DISPLAY pushbutton to on and adjust REFERENCE
LEVEL control for 100 V indication on crt readout (far bottom left).
(68) Set TIME/DIV switch to MNL and adjust MANUAL SCAL control fully ccw.
(69) Adjust C5021 and C4057 (fig. 6) for optimum REF LEVEL readout on crt
(straightest letters and numerals).
(70) Push POWER switch to off.
(71) Remove extender from deflection amplifier board (fig. 6) and reinstall
amplifier board.
(73) Pull POWER switch to on.
(74) Position controls as listed in (a) through (c) below:

TRIGGERING INT pushbutton pressed to on.
(b)
TIME/DIV switch to 10 ms.
(c)
FREQUENCY SPAN/DIV control to 10 MHz (or less).
