(86) Adjust R1032 (fig 8) for a 20.0 V difference between frequency voltages recorded
in (84) and (85) above.
(87) Move positive lead to TP1059 (fig. 8) and adjust R1034 (fig. 8) for a -10.0 V
indication on multimeter. Disconnect TI from equipment setup.
(90) Remove shorting strap and press EXTERNAL MIXER pushbutton to off.
(91) Push POWER switch to off and reinstall preselector driver board (fig. 8). Pull
POWER switch to on.
(92) Connect CAL OUT to RF INPUT.
(93) Position controls as listed in (a) through (c) below:
(a)
FREQUENCY SPAN/DIV control to 100 MHz.
(b)
TIME/DIV switch to AUTO.
(c)
Press CAL pushbutton to on.
(94) Adjust FREQUENCY control to center of CAL range 15 MHz. Press CAL
pushbutton to off.
(95) Push POWER switch to off to reset.
(96) Pull POWER switch to on and position controls as listed in (a) through (d) below:
(a) FREQUENCY SPAN/DIV control to 200 MHz.
(b) TIME/DIV switch to AUTO.
(c) REFERENCE LEVEL control to -30 dBm.
(d) MIN RF ATTEN control to 0 dB.
(97) Position CAL OUT 18th marker to center graticule line, using FREQUENCY control.
(98) Adjust FREQUENCY SPAN/DIV control to 2 MHz and press DEGAUSS
pushbutton. Adjust FREQUENCY control for a readout of 1.8 GHz on crt.
(99) Adjust R1032, 1st LO driver board (fig. 8), until 1.8 GHz marker is aligned with
center graticule line on crt.
(100) Adjust FREQUENCY control for a 100 MHz FREQUENCY indication on crt.
NOTE
Adjust FREQUENCY SPAN/DIV control to a higher setting to
facilitate tuning, then back to 2 MHz.
(101) Press DEGAUSS pushbutton and adjust R1031 (fig. 8) until 100 MHz marker
is aligned with center graticule line on crt.
(102) Repeat technique of (93) through (101) above to correct for interaction.
(103) Disconnect CAL OUT from RF INPUT and connect microwave comb generator.
