(13) Adjust spectrum analyzer controls to view TI fundamental signal near center
frequency graticule and top of fundamental referenced to top graticule on spectrum
analyzer display.
NOTE
Adjust spectrum analyzer controls as necessary to display a
marker pair with reference marker at peak of fundamental
frequency for (14) and (15) below.
(14) Set ATTENUATION DB 0-80 switch to 10. Measuring receiver indication will
be within limits specified in first row of table 4.
NOTE
Record measuring receiver indication (for 10 dB position only)

(16) Repeat (12) through (15) above for TI frequencies of 9200 20 MHz and 10,000
20 MHz.
b. Adjustments
(1) Set DISPLAY SELECT switch to FREQ (MHz) and adjust FREQ 8.4 TO 10.0
GHz COARSE and FINE controls for a display indication of 8400 20 MHz.
(2) Adjust ATTENUATION DB FINE control for a 0.0 dB indication on power
meter. Set DISPLAY SELECT switch to RF SIG GEN PWR (DBM).
(3) Using FREQ 8.4 TO 10.0 GHz COARSE control vary frequency between 8.4
and 10.0 GHz while maintaining a 0.0 dB power meter indication. Record TI displayed
minimum and maximum indications.
(4) Using indications recorded in (3) above and formula below, calculate
correction factor.
