12. Target Rate and Range
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect equipment as shown in figure 8.

(2) Position controls as listed in (a) through (e) below:
DISPLAY SELECT switch to PRF (Hz).

MODE switch to SIG GEN PULSE.
(b)
TRIGGER switch to IN POS.
(c)
ATTENUATION DB 0-80 switch to 0.
(d)
ATTENUATION DB FINE control fully cw.
(e)
(3) Set function generator controls for a 1Ps pulse at an amplitude of 1 V and a
period of 5 sec.
(4) Adjust pulse generator controls for a positive 1 Ps pulse at an amplitude of 10 V.
Adjust pulse generator frequency controls for a TI display indication of 1000.
(5) Set DISPLAY SELECT switch to PW (MICROSEC) and press 1.0 and then E
on keyboard.
