(6) Configure frequency counter for time interval A to B measurements with
positive start arming, 1 ms gate time, and single measurements.
(7) Configure both channels A and B for DC coupling, 1 MŸ input, and + slope.
(8) Set DISPLAY SELECT switch to RANGE (YDS) and press 250 then E
(9) Set DISPLAY SELECT switch to RANGE RATE (KNS) and press 100 then E
NOTE
When E is pressed in (10) above, target pulse will start at a
time = to the range entered in (9) above and increase to 40,000
yds. Then reset to 250 yds and increase again until test
conditions are altered.
(10) Observe frequency counter and record a sufficient number of successive
indications to meet minimum requirements depicted in following example.
EXAMPLE:
Target Rate
NOTE
This example contains two different methods of computing the
target rate results. Section A should be used when possible.
Section B may be required at the faster rates.
