e. Check frequency drift after 24 hours. The drift will be less than 1 part in 109.
f. Disconnect frequency difference meter from TI and time/frequency workstation.

8. Frequency Accuracy
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect equipment as shown in figure 3 below:

(2) Set up frequency counter controls to measure frequency with 50
input.
(3) Press pushbuttons as listed in (a) through (f) below:
SHIFT INSTR PRESET.

ON/OFF EXT AC.

PARAMETER LEVEL.
(d)
DATA 0.
(e)
ENTER/UNITS dBm.
(f)
(4) Press TI PARAMETER RF pushbutton, enter DATA numerical value, and
press ENTER/UNITS MHz key for each row in table 3. Frequency counter will indicate
within the limits specified.
