Performance Check
(1) Select and activate Vc from the Circuit menu on the UxValidator.
Vc will
appear in the Circuit field.
(2)
Connect calibrator to TI ETTS Pod as shown in figure 20.

(3)
Select and activate Test from the POD Alignment screen on the UxValidator.
(4) Set the calibrator to output 15.000 V dc If TI reading on UxValidator does not
indicate between 14.980 and 15.020 V dc, perform b below.
(5) Set the calibrator to output 17.000 V dc. If TI reading does not indicate between
16.980 and 17.020 V dc, perform b below.
(6) Set the calibrator to output 19.000 V dc. If TI reading does not indicate between
18.980 and 19.020 V dc, perform b below.
(7) Press the TI ETTS BrainPak left Encoder button to return to the main POD
Alignment screen.

Adjustments
(1) Select and activate Align on the UxValidator.
On-screen instructions are
displayed.
(2) Set the calibrator to output 19.000 V dc.
Allow the circuit to stabilize for
2 minutes.
(3) Select and activate OK. The TI will measure the voltage.
When the
measurement is completed, a second on-screen instruction is displayed.
(4)
Set the calibrator to output 15.000 V dc. Select and activate OK.
