Adjustments
(1) Select and activate Align on the UxValidator.
On-screen instructions are
displayed.
(2) Set the calibrator to output 0.5000 A at 6 kHz. Allow the circuit to stabilize for
2 minutes.
(3) Select and activate OK on the UxValidator. The TI will measure the current.
When the measurement is completed, a second on-screen instruction is displayed.
(4)
Set the calibrator to output 0.4000 A at 6 kHz. Select and activate OK.
(5) When both current measurements are complete, the alignment progress bar will
show 100%. The TI will calculate the alignment constants and then enter a live-reading
performance check mode.
(6) Press the TI ETTS BrainPak left Encoder knob to save the alignment
constants.
Repeat paragraph 9 a above.

10. Vt

Performance Check
(1) Select and activate Vt from the Circuit menu on the UxValidator. Vt will appear
in the Circuit field.

Connect calibrator to TI ETTS Pod as shown in figure 19.
(3)
Select and activate Test from the POD Alignment screen on the UxValidator.
(4) Set the calibrator to output 15.000 V dc. If TI reading on UxValidator does not
indicate between 14.980 and 15.020 V dc, perform b below.
