(5) When both voltage measurements are complete, the alignment progress bar will
show 100%. The TI will calculate the alignment constants and then enter a live-reading
performance check mode.
(6) Press the TI ETTS BrainPak left Encoder knob to save the alignment
constants.

Performance Check
(1) Select and activate Vx from the Circuit menu on the UxValidator.
Vx will
appear in the Circuit field.
(2)
Connect equipment as shown in figure 21, connection A.
(3)
Select and activate Test from the POD Alignment screen on the UxValidator.
(4) Set calibrator 1 to output 17.000 V dc and verify that the TI reading on
UxValidator is 0.0 0.0008 V dc; if not, perform b below.
(5) Connect equipment as shown in figure 21, connection B, to measure voltage
difference between calibrators 1 and 2.
(6)
Set calibrator 1 to output 17.000 V dc and set calibrator 2 to output 16.950 V dc.
(7) Adjust calibrator 2 output until multimeter indicates +50 mV dc 5 mV. If TI
reading on UxValidator does not indicate between 0.0492 and 0.0508, perform b below.
(8) Adjust calibrator 2 output until multimeter indicates 50 mV dc 5 mV. If TI
reading on UxValidator does not indicate between0.0508 and 0.0492 , perform b below.
(9) Press the TI ETTS BrainPak left Encoder button to return to the main POD
Alignment screen.
