(15) Refer to table 1 range/accuracy Readback (Meter) accuracy specification and
calculate the limits for each programmed current in steps (10) and (12) above.
(16) The TI AMPS display must indicate within the corresponding Readback (Meter)
accuracy limits calculated in step (15) for each programmed voltage in steps (10) and (12)
above.
(17) If using electronic load Astec America Inc., EL750B, set the static current
control fully CCW. If using electronic load Transistor Devices, DLP-130-50-2500, release
the SHORT CIRCUIT switch.
(18) Set the electronic load DC circuit breaker to Off.
(20) Using TI front panel controls, program voltage and current outputs for 0.
b. Adjustments. No adjustment can be made for 1791; for all others see appendix A.
16. Load and Line Regulation (Constant Voltage)
a. Performance Check
(1) Set the Electronic Load resistance to maximum (minimum load), Mode as
required, and DC circuit breaker to On. Connect equipment as shown in figure 2.
(2) Using TI front panel controls, program voltage and current outputs for full scale.
(3) Reduce the electronic load resistance until TI front panel display indicates full
scale and ensure front panel CV enunciator is illuminated.
(4) Record multimeter indication.
(5) Set electronic load DC circuit breaker to Off.
(6) The difference between the multimeter indication and the value recorded in
step (4) above must be within table 1 Load Regulation CV limits.
(7) Set electronic load DC circuit breaker to On.
(8) Adjust the autotransformer until the meter indicates 105 V ac, unless minimum
line voltage is otherwise specified in table 1.
(9) Record multimeter indication.
(10) Adjust the autotransformer until the meter indicates 125 V ac, unless maximum
line voltage is otherwise specified in table 1.
(11) The difference between the multimeter indication and the value recorded in step
(9) above must be within table 1 Line Regulation CV limits.
(12) Set electronic load DC circuit breaker to Off.
(13) Adjust the autotransformer until the meter indicates 115 V ac.
(14) Using TI front panel controls, program voltage and current outputs for 0.
