(21) Divide 50 by the average value calculated in step (15) above, and record the
quotient. Slowly increase RF power output at 100 MHz until the Power Meter reads the
same as this quotient and remains stable.
(22) Adjust TI potentiometer R10 (fig. 2) until TI meter indicates 4.0 watts. Reduce
RF power to minimum and set source to standby.
(23) Set the TI Power range switch to 50.
(24) Divide 500 by the average value calculated in step (15) above and record the
quotient. Slowly increase RF power output at 100 MHz until the Power Meter reads the
same as this quotient and remains stable.
(25) Adjust TI potentiometer R8 (fig. 2) until TI indicates 40.0 watts. Reduce RF
power to minimum and set source to standby.
(26) Set the TI Power range switch to 150.
(27) Divide 1250 by the average value calculated and recorded in step (15) above and
record the quotient. Slowly increase RF power output at 100 MHz until the Power Meter
reads the same as this quotient and remains stable.
(28) Adjust TI potentiometer R7 (fig. 2) until TI meter indicates 100.0 watts. Reduce
RF power to minimum and set source to standby.
(29) No further adjustments can be made.
a. De-energize and disconnect all equipment.
b. Turn the element so that the arrow points down and set range switch to 5 W. This
will shut the meter circuit and protect the meter by dampening needle action.
c. Annotate on DA Label 163 "Not Calibrated above 100 watts."
