(35) Set oscilloscope calibrator output frequency to 100 MHz (models 54600A and
54601A), or 250 MHz (model 54602A).
(36) Adjust oscilloscope calibrator output amplitude for 1 division of vertical
deflection on TI display.
(37) If necessary, adjust TI trigger level for a stable display. If TI will not display a
stable waveform, perform b below.
(38) Set oscilloscope calibrator output to OFF and disconnect oscilloscope calibrator
and 50 Ω feedthrough termination from TI.
NOTE
For model 54600A continue with (39) below.
For models
54601A and 54602A proceed to (48) below.
(39) Press TI keys as listed in (a) through (d) below:
(a) Setup.
(b) [Default Setup].
(c) TRIGGER SOURCE.
(d) [Ext].
(40) Connect equipment as shown in figure 1.

(41) Set oscilloscope calibrator output for a 100 MHz, 100 mV p-p leveled sinewave.
(42) If necessary, adjust TI trigger level for a stable display. If TI will not display a
stable waveform, perform b below.
