(8) Repeat technique of (4) through (6) above for CH1, except if err readout
indication is not within 3%, perform b (2) below.
b. Adjustments
(1) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a channel 2, 1 kHz, 30 mV VOLTAGE mode
output and adjust R137 (fig. 1) for exactly 6 divisions on TI.
(2) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a channel 1, 1 kHz, 30 mV VOLTAGE mode
output and adjust R117 (fig. 1) for exactly 6 divisions on TI.
a. Performance Check
(1) Set VOLTS/DIV switches to 5m and SEC/DIV switch to 2 .
(2) Connect oscilloscope calibrator SOURCE/MEASURE CHAN 2 to TI CH2 input.
(3) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a channel 2, 100 kHz, 25 mV, EDGE mode output
and adjust amplitude for 5 divisions of vertical deflection on TI. If TI does not display
optimum square wave within 0.2 divisions, perform b below.
(4) Set SEC/DIV switch to .2 m, set oscilloscope calibrator to standby and insert
standardizer between termination and TI.
(5) Set oscilloscope calibrator output to 1 kHz and adjust output amplitude for 5
divisions of vertical deflection on TI.
(6) Adjust standardizer for optimum square wave response on TI.
(7) Set VOLTS/DIV switch to settings listed in table 5 and adjust oscilloscope
calibrator output amplitude for 5 divisions of display at each setting. If TI does not display
optimum square wave at each setting, perform appropriate adjustments listed in table 5.
