12. Residual FM Test
a. Performance Check
(1) Press TI RESET key.
(2) Configure measuring receiver to measure FM modulation with <20 Hz high-pass
filter, 15 kHz low-pass filter and RMS detector selected.
(3) Press LEVEL key and set LEVEL display to +13.0 dBm by pressing 13 with
DATA ENTRY keys and then by pressing GHz/dBm/SEC DATA ENTRY key.
(4) Press FREQUENCY RANGE CW F1 key and set F1 M3 display to 0.010 GHz
by pressing 10 with DATA ENTRY keys and then by pressing MHz/dB/mS DATA
ENTRY key.
(5) Measuring receiver FM modulation display will indicate less than 5.0 kHz.
(6) Repeat technique of (3) through (5) above for 0.100, 1.0, and 1.7 GHz.
(7) Press LEVEL key and set LEVEL display to +10.0 dBm by pressing 10 with
DATA ENTRY keys and then by pressing GHZ/dBm/SEC DATA ENTRY key.
(8) Press FREQUENCY RANGE CW F1 key and set F1 M3 display to F1 M3
display frequency indications listed in table 5.
(9) Measuring receiver FM modulation display will indicate less than value listed in
(10) Repeat technique of (7) through (9) above for remaining F1 M3 display
frequency indications listed in table 5.

13. V/GHz Output Test
a. Performance Check
(1) Press RESET key.
(2) Press FREQUENCY RANGE Fl-F2 key.
(3) Press Fl M3 key and set F1 M3 display to 0.010 GHz by pressing 10 with
DATA ENTRY keys and then by pressing MHz/ dB/mS DATA ENTRY key.
