(13) Adjust trigger manual sweep control for a multimeter indication as close as
possible to value recorded in table 6 for 0.010 GHz.
(14) Configure measuring receiver for RF power measurement.
(15) Slowly rotate TRIGGER MANUAL SWEEP control cw until multimeter
indicates value recorded in table 6 for 1.000 GHz. If measuring receiver power display
lowest level indication is not equal to or greater than +13.0 dBm, perform b below.
(16) Slowly rotate TRIGGER MANUAL SWEEP control cw until multimeter
indicates value recorded in table 6 for 2.000 GHz. If measuring receiver power display
lowest level indication is not equal to or greater than +13.0 dBm, perform b below.
(17) Press FREQUENCY RANGE F1-F2 key then press TRIGGER AUTO key.
(18) Press F1 M3 key and set F1 M3 display to 2.000 GHz by pressing 2 with DATA
ENTRY key and then by pressing GHz/dBm/ SEC DATA ENTRY key.
(19) Press F2 M6 keys and set F2 M6 display to 18.000 GHz by pressing 18 with
DATA ENTRY keys and then by pressing GHz/dBm/SEC DATA ENTRY key.
(20) Press SWEEP TIME key and set SWEEP display to 1.0 second by pressing 1
with DATA ENTRY key and then by pressing GHz/dBm/SEC DATA ENTRY key.
(21) Press LEVEL key and set LEVEL display to +10.0 dBm by pressing 10 with
DATA ENTRY keys and then by pressing GHz/dBm/SEC DATA ENTRY key.
(22) Slowly rotate INCR-DECR control cw until UNLEVELED indicator blinks on.
(23) Slowly rotate INCR-DECR control ccw until UNLEVELED indicator quits
blinking. Wait for three sweeps to complete without the UNLEVELED indicator blinking
before proceeding to (24) below.
(24) Press TRIGGER MANUAL SWEEP key.
(25) Adjust TRIGGER MANUAL SWEEP control for a multimeter indication equal
to the value listed in table 7.
NOTE
Refer to table 6 for actual multimeter indications values.
(26) If measuring receiver indication is not equal to or greater than +10.0 dBm,
perform b below.
(27) Repeat technique of (25) and (26) above for remaining multimeter indications
and measuring receiver settings listed in table 7.
