(8) Set TI OUTPUT to OFF and disconnect equipment set-up.
b. Adjustments. Perform entire alignment procedure in paragraph 11 below.
11. Alignment
a. Unsecuring TI for Alignment
(1) Set rear panel CAL switch to ENABLE.
(2) Set TI as listed in (a) through (c) below:
(a) Major function, MODE
(b) [CALIB]
(c) Keypad Entry, 2
(default password)

b. Special Cal
NOTE
SPECIAL CAL must be completed before performing BASE
CAL. There is no connection to external standards during the
SPECIAL CAL routine (except for ADJUST FREQ).  Once
SPECIAL CAL is completed, the entire BASE CAL must be
completed because numerous internal adjustments were made.
(1) Set TI as listed in (a) and (b) below:
(a) [SPECIAL CAL]
(b) [Chse DAC] (first characterization in table 9)
(2) Chse - DAC will be highlighted and all other Special Cal options will blank.
DAC characterization is complete when the single highlighted key is replaced by complete
softkey menu display.
(3) Repeat technique of (1) (b) and (2) above for remaining Special Cal
characterizations in table 9.
