Wait 5 minutes before proceeding to (16) below.
(16) Press LEVEL key and set LEVEL display to +7.0 dBm by pressing 7 with
DATA ENTRY key and then by pressing GHz/dBm/SEC DATA ENTRY keys.
(17) Repeat (9) through (16) above until both +7.0 and -2.9 dBm are within tolerance.
(18) Disconnect measuring receiver power sensor from RF OUTPUT 50 .
(19) Press POWER pushbutton to OFF position.
(20) Remove TI top cover and replace TI board cover screw holding CCA boards.
(21) Replace and secure TI top cover.
(22) Press POWER pushbutton to ON position.
14. Output Power Variations Test
a. Performance Test
(1) Press TI RESET key.
(3) Press F1 M3 key and set F1 M3 display to 0.010 GHz by pressing 10 with
DATA ENTRY keys and then by pressing MHz/dB/mS DATA ENTRY key.
(4) Press F2 M6 key and set F2 M6 display to 2 GHz by pressing 2 with DATA
ENTRY key and then by pressing GHz/dBm/SEC DATA ENTRY key.
(5) Connect multimeter (dc mode) to V/GHz OUTPUT (rear panel).
(6) Press LEVEL key and set LEVEL display to +13.0 dBm by pressing 13 with
DATA ENTRY keys and then by pressing GHz/dBm/SEC DATA ENTRY key.
(7) Connect measuring receiver power sensor to RF OUTPUT 50 .
(8) Press TRIGGER MANUAL SWEEP key and rotate TRIGGER MANUAL
SWEEP control for a multimeter indication as close as possible to value recorded in 7 h (8) above.
(9) Configure measuring receiver to measure frequency and allow measuring
receiver to acquire carrier frequency.
(10) Configure measuring receiver to measure RF power.
(11) Press LEVEL key and adjust INCR-DECR control for a measuring receiver RF
power display indication of +13.0 dBm.
(12) Slowly rotate TRIGGER MANUAL SWEEP control cw until multimeter
indicates same value as recorded in 7 h (10) above. Measuring receiver RF power display
indications will be between +12 and +14 dBm.
(13) Repeat (9) and (10) above.
(14) Slowly rotate TRIGGER MANUAL SWEEP control cw until multimeter
indicates same value as recorded in 7 h (11) above. Measuring receiver RF power display
indications will be between +12 and +14 dBm.
